Join me and Victoria from Stokesay Flowers for a hands-on, immersive workshop designed to help you capture stunning images and video of florals and growing spaces.
What to Expect
We’ll start with the fundamentals of taking creative control of your phone camera, covering:
Looking into the settings that can be changed on phones - to you help take better images and video
Light and composition – how to work with light and composition to create compelling images
From there, we’ll take our phones into Victoria and Barney’s stunning flower garden, applying what we’ve learned to various floral setups.
Practical Sessions
Photograph floral arrangements using flowers from the garden
Experiment with different backdrops, lighting conditions, and compositions
Capture the beauty and story of the walled garden
Use a selection of props and tools to tell a visual story through your images
We will also explore how to use:
Artificial light, diffusers, and reflectors to enhance your shots when needed
Editing software – a brief introduction to editing
What to Bring
The course is designed for those using phone cameras of any type - no matter how old! Remember to free up space in the memory. More tips on how to prepare for the day will be sent out before the course.
There will be workshop handouts based on the main concepts that we cover on the day.
Cancellation policy
A full refund will be given if you need to cancel your place up to 21 days before the event. If you need to cancel after that, and we can find a replacement in time, you will also receive a full refund.
